My VanLife consisted of working every other week. The week on was brutal, piling in two weeks worth of hours, but adventuring on the off weeks was worth it!
I slept in the hospital parking lot (with security's permission) during my work weeks, driving into the sunset after my last shift.
The highlight was taking two months off to drive 9,000 miles, up the West Coast, ferrying to Vancouver Island, across Canada through Jasper, Banff and Niagara, then down to Georgia before cruising back across the US. Epic.

Campgrounds, Rest Areas, BLM or USFS Land, and the occasional Walmart or Truck Stop were home on off weeks, always near or on the way to epic trail runs.
